At Spero Wellness Clinic, we can do all standard blood tests, such a CBC, complete metabolic panel, fasting lipid panels, Vit D level, thyroid tests, HgA1C, PSA, CRP, Lyme Western Blot, etc via Lab Corp. For lab pricing, please see our price sheet below. Please note that while this list contains most of the labs we offer, it does not include all available tests. For inquiries regarding specific tests and pricing, please contact our office.
In house labs include urinalysis & strep screen for $20 each, and pregnancy testing for $30.
Since Spero Wellness is a direct pay clinic, you will find that labs done at Spero are significantly more affordable. This makes it a great option for those with high deductible health care plans.
Part of our mission is to empower patients to take charge of their own health. For that reason, in addition to providing discounted labs our active patients, we also offer them to the community at large . Simply sign a waiver, and we will send the results directly to you or to the health care provider of your choice. Specialty Lab Tests
Specialty labs for functional medicine can be ordered from a number of exceptional companies including Diagnostic Solutions, Doctor’s Data Inc, Dutch Test, Elisa/ACT, Genova, Great Plains Labs, Igenex, Labrix, Spectracell, Vibrant, etc.
Testing options to diagnose MTHFR and other genetic methylation and detox problems

1. MTHFR cheek swab test by Labcorp for $140.
- This is a simple blood draw or cheek swab test that will tell you if you have one or two copies of the C677T and/or A1298C variant.
2. Methylation Panel by Genova via blood and cheek swab for $378 + $25 draw fee for active patients, or $30 for prospective patients. You will also pay a $10 shipping/handling fee.
- This test shows you methylation metabolites from a blood sample, and genetic single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) are analyzed via a cheek swab. Not only does the Methylation Panel assess the methylation cycle, but it also incorporates the folate cycle and transsulfuration.
- Because these three processes are interconnected, the Methylation Panel is able to provide a complete picture regarding methylation status. If you want help interpreting this test, please request a 30-45 minute visit with Dr. Kristie or Dr. Robyn for $210-$315.
3. GenomicInsight by Diagnostic Solutions via cheek swab for $329.
- GenomicInsight reports on over 3,000 single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) (including MTHFR C677T and A1298C ) in one comprehensive functional DNA test.
- For a brief summary, listen to their 3 minute overview here. Their report is broken down into 11 different modules - methylation, detoxification, cognition, inflammation, anti-aging, endocrine, structural, energy/metabolism, estrogen genomics, androgen genomics, and cardiometabolic.
- This is a complicated report, so to get the most out of it, we recommend that you schedule a 45-60 minute visit with Dr. Kristie or Dr. Robyn for $315-$420 to go through the methylation and detox modules, and to get an overview of how to read the other 9 modules.
